Chicken & Broccoli Ring

2 pkgs. refrigerated crescent rolls

2 c coarsely chopped cooked chicken

1 1/2 c coarsely chopped broccoli

1 c shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 c diced red pepper

1/3 c mayonnaise

2 tsp. dried dill weed

1/4 tsp. salt

1 garlic clove, pressed

1 egg white, slightly beaten (opt)

1/4 c. slivered almonds (opt)

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Combine chicken, broccoli,cheese, bell pepper, mayo, dill, salt and garlic; mix well.
  2. Lay crescent rolls out into a circular shape, overlapping slightly.
  3. Scoop filling evenly onto pastry. Fold tips of crescents loosely over top of filling. Brush with egg white and sprinkle with almonds.
  4. Bake 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
