Pumpkin Cake

1 yellow cake mix
1 cube margarine

1 small can pumpkin
1 1/4 C sugar
3 eggs
1 can evaporated milk
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp ginger
1/4 tsp cloves
dash of salt

In a greased 9x13 pan, put 1/2 cake mixture and pat down lightly in the bottom of the pan. Spread all of pumpkin mixture over crust. Cover with the last half of the cake mixture. Bake 350 degrees for 50 minutes (I cooked mine a couple more minutes until a toothpick came out clean.) Serve with fresh whipped topping.
