Sheperd's Pie


1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
1 chopped onion
1 pkg. frozen vegetable blend (carrots, peas, beans, corn)
2 lbs  potatoes 4 to 5 large potatoes
8 Tbs butter
1/2 c. beef broth
2 Tbs. A-1 steak sauce
1 tsp all season salt

Peel, quarter, and boil potaotes until cooked (about 20 minutes). While potatoes are cooking, melt 4 Tbs of butter. Add onions and saute until tender. Add ground beef and cook until it's no longer pink. Add vegetables, beef broth, all season salt and steak sauce and cover and cook on low for 10 minutes.

Mash potatoes, add butter and salt to taste. Put beef and vegetable mixture in a baking dish (9X13). Spoon potatoes on top and spread evenly. You can rough up the potatoes, so the peaks will brown.

Cook in 400 degree oven for about 30 minutes until the potatoes are brown and the mixture is bubbling.
